CrossTalk Event: The Me to We Seminar

CrossTalk is an event-based program designed to encourage pastors and Christian leaders across the Front Range. The next CrossTalk event is the Me to We Seminar on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007 at Denver Seminary. (September 4)

Vine, Vision & Voice

Vine, Vision & Voice (a Christian formation program for women) is coming again this Fall. The program will meet in three different locations, and Seminary students, staff, faculty and friends are invited. Eight-week sessions begin on September 17 and September 20. (August 22)

New Book Review on the Denver Journal

Recently added to the New Testament section of the Denver Journal, Dr. Craig Blomberg reviews a book by Pope Benedict XVI, Jesus of Nazareth: From the Baptism in the Jordan to the Transfiguration. To read the full review, click here. (August 6)

Travel to Syria and Cyprus!

Dr. Rick Hess will be leading a study tour of Syria and Cyprus during the intersession, January 13-27, 2008. We will visit the major ancient sites and cities of these lands and grow in our understanding of their impact on the Bible. (June 20)

New "New Testament" Entries on the Denver Journal

Several new articles are now available in the "New Testament" section of the Denver Journal, including: The Letters of 2nd Peter and Jude, review written by Dr. Craig L. Blomberg; The Last Week: A Day-by-Day Account of Jesus's Final Week in Jerusalem, review written by Dr. William W. Klein and Women, Ministry and the Gospel: Exploring New Paradigms, review written by Dr. Craig L. Blomberg. (June 15)

New "Philosophy of Religion" Entries on the Denver Journal

Several new articles have been added to the Denver Journal's "Philosophy of Religion" section, including: The Affirmation of Life: Nietzsche on Overcoming Nihilism, review written by Michael Kallenberg; The Rationalists: Descartes, Spinoza and Leibniz, review written by Jon Skorich; In the Shadow of the Antichrist: Nietzsche's Critique of Christianity, review written by Dr. Douglas Groothuis; and Letter to a Christian Nation, review written by Jonah Haddad. Denver Seminary Mourns the Loss of Faculty Member Dr. Steve Young

On Tuesday, May 15, Dr. Steve Young’s struggle with cancer ended. He fought this terrible disease with dignity and in the hope and peace of the promised resurrection of our Lord and Savior—Jesus Christ. (May 16)
