Church History: New Life Mission Church is a PCA Korean American church that was planted in 2004 with the vision of becoming a church that: 1. Glorifies God 2. Enjoys His Presence 3. Proclaims the Gospel to the world. Their goal is to be ONE CHURCH who reaches out to Korean Americans of all generations in the greater Denver area.

English Ministry: The English Ministry was established to see the gospel be reached out to the English-speaking Korean Americans. As the gospel usually does, it has transformed the ministry organically to reflect a more multi-ethnic congregation.

EM Vision: The richness of the gospel manifested in the hearts and minds of God’s people.

EM Mission: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. –Matthew 28:19-20a

Purpose of the Ministry Intern: Assist in administration and ministry to promote the gospel according to the EM’s growth plan.

Goal: Train and equip the ministry intern to be a pastoral candidate in the future for the glory of God and the good of the church.

Job Description :
• Administration
o Manage EM calendar and all of the files in EM.
o Construct weekly program for worship.
o Keep track of attendance for worship and other programs.
o Contact leaders and members for administrative purposes.
o Manage and coordinate FB for EM.
o Attend Core meetings.
o Coordinate matters with Media chair.
o Communicate events with leaders.
o Help oversight with weekly worship.
o Fulfill other pastoral responsibilities as delegated by the pastor.
• Ministry
o Assist in leading and revitalizing college ministry.
o Lead different activities/programs under pastoral supervision.
o Teach Bible or topical studies under pastoral supervision.
o Slowly have opportunities to preach under pastoral supervision.
o Start process for the pastoral ministry.
o Fulfill other pastoral responsibilities as delegated by the pastor.

Term: 1 year with assessment at three months and every year or as needed

• Personally received Jesus as his Lord and Savior
• Views the Holy Scripture as the inerrant and infallible rule of faith and practice
• Committed to the Reformed Faith (Adheres to the Westminster Standards)
• Desires to pursue ordination in NAPARC (preferably PCA)
• Reference from the following:
o One professional reference
o Local pastor
o Church member who can affirm their calling
• Pass a background check
