Looking to make a difference working with At-Risk youth who are transitioning to the community?

Savio, a private, non-profit agency, seeks a Youth Transition Worker to join our community-based Transition Team in the Denver Region.

Position’s primary function/objective:
To provide emancipation and family reunification services and general community-based support to referred At-Risk adolescents.

Position’s primary function/objective:
• Establish positive relationship with clients;
• Support and assist clients with their educational, vocational and employment plan;
• Provide on-call crisis intervention to clients according to the rotation schedule;
• Link clients to community resources and services including those identified by Savio Transition Program (STP);
• Work with Supervisor, Specialist, and Client Manager in order to address the dynamic risk factors identified in the Colorado Juvenile Risk Assessment;
• Provide positive alternatives for recreations;
• Foster emotional and intellectual development of clients;
• Involve family in planning and evaluation of services; and
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s of Social Work or degree in related human services field
• If not licensed, must be registered as a Registered Psychotherapist;
• Prior experience with at-risk youth helpful, but not required;
• Good Driving Record and
• 21 years of age or older.
