I grew up in Metro-Detroit before moving to Chicago to attend Moody Bible Institute, which is where I met my husband Jonathan. In July 2015, we moved to Denver to pursue our dream of living close to the mountains and for Jon to pursue his MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. A few months later I started working in the admissions department at Denver Seminary and it’s been a tremendous privilege over the last few years to walk with prospective students as they navigate the decision to pursue graduate school.
I love the outdoors and for Jon and me having the mountains at our doorstep is an invitation to explore creation every chance we get, including rock climbing, hiking, camping, and snowshoeing. We also love big cities and living on the Front Range has given us an urban context where we can engage different cultures, meet lots of new people, and participate in a variety of ministries. When I’m not working, I enjoy trying new restaurants (especially Middle Eastern food!), wandering around farmer’s markets, cooking, or hanging out in one of the many coffee shops around the city.
We’d love to have you at Denver Seminary – please feel free to contact me with any questions! I love talking up Denver Seminary and the great state of Colorado!
