Nearly ten years ago, and with big hopes, dreams, and a sense of calling, I traveled from my home state of Indiana to begin my studies at Denver Seminary. After graduating in 2008 with an MA in Leadership, and a concentration in Worship, I stayed in Denver because I fell in love with the sun, the skies, the mountains and God’s heart for this city. Denver Seminary’s commitment to preparing men and women to engage the needs of the world with the redemptive power of the gospel has been so attractive to me that I pursued the opportunity to work in the registrar’s office and serve students as they prepare to bring life-change through their lives and ministry.
Since there is no end of exciting things to do here in the Rocky Mountains, I get to enjoy things like hiking, camping, biking and taking day trips to mountain towns. I also enjoy exploring the city with my husband, Mark, and my two daughters, Zoe and Rhema. We love to visit the zoo, museums, and many of the fun and unique restaurants scattered throughout the city. I’m also privileged to serve as a worship leader for my church and enjoy opportunities to create spaces for people to meet and engage with God’s presence through worship, music and song.
