I came to Denver Seminary in 2011 after completing my undergraduate degree at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. I've spent the majority of my life growing up in Maine, enjoying the Atlantic Ocean, Appalachian Mountain Range, and the (recent) success of New England sport teams. Although I miss New England and my loyalty ultimate lies with the Red Sox and Patriots, living in the midwest and now in the shadow of the western mountain range has brought exciting adventures of its own.
I originally came to seminary in order to build a strong theological foundation before pursuing PhD work in American Religious History. However, after completing almost all my studies (MA New Testament Biblical Studies and Apologetics & Ethics), I plan to do post-graduate work in biblical or theological studies. I believe my future vocation will lead me to teach in higher education, but exactly where and in what capacity is still unknown.
For the past five years I have had the privilege of serving with the staff here at Denver Seminary, first as a administrative assistant for the Advancement Department, and now as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. It is gratifying to be able to participate in helping the Seminary run smoothly and provide a top-notch educational experience for current and prospective students.
