In the last few years Denver Seminary has gone through extensive changes. We launched several fully online degrees including: our esteemed MDiv, a 39-hour MA (Biblical and Theological Studies), a MA in Leadership, and our flexible MA (Christian Studies). We’ve also redesigned our curriculum, added two extension campuses, and launched a Master of Theology (ThM) degree.
Why the changes?
That’s easy. The world has changed.
The world of ministry that we are called to today is different than the world of ministry 40-50 years ago, and yet the stark reality is many seminary programs haven’t changed in the last 50 years. Denver Seminary is committed to our mission statement: preparing men and women to engage the needs of the world with the redemptive power of the gospel and the life-changing truth of Scripture, thus change is necessary.
Students come to Denver Seminary sensing God’s call to ministries in the local church, parachurch organizations, mission agencies, nonprofits, schools, and many other settings. In order to prepare our students for their call, we are committed to improving, changing, and enriching the seminary experience, all the while staying rooted and committed to our mission and core commitments.
