Women Engage

A Dynamic Community of Women

Women Engage is a dynamic, intergenerational community of women in Denver committed to pursuing communal development and personal growth. Alongside Denver Seminary, we address these areas from a perspective that engages and proclaims the redemptive power of the gospel and the life-changing truth of scripture. There are four guiding values that define the structure of Women Engage:

We recognize learning as a continual process throughout one’s life. We value the opportunity to learn from the wisdom of thought leaders and experts as well as through discussion and sharing our personal experiences and perspectives.

We celebrate that our God is a living God. We value the gift of prayer and our ability to communicate praise, questions, lament, and needs to our Lord. We value the opportunity to intercede for one another and rejoice with one another in prayer.

We rejoice that in our brokenness God chooses to use us to bless others. We value opportunities to serve within Women Engage, within Denver Seminary, and in our expanding circles of community.

We pursue the call to live with a spirit of generosity. We practice giving generously in the ways we are called, whether that be with our finances, time, talent, or all three.

No relationship is perfect—however, is there space to improve? The secret to stronger relationships isn't to become more charming or funny, or solve the world's problems or to just try harder. All you have to do is listen. It's that simple. Yet our noisy culture hasn't equipped us to do this. Come hear Becky Harling speak on The Relationship Game Changer and learn some simple, practical listening tools that will help you become a person others are drawn to and want to spend time with.
