Denver Seminary prepares men and women to engage the needs of the world with the redemptive power of the Gospel and the life-changing truth of Scripture. Through our educational programs and mentoring process, the Seminary challenges students to grow spiritually, intellectually, and professional in order to lead God’s people in the accomplishment of His mission in the world. The position of Alumni Relations Associate supports this mission by:
Research and develop a database of stories and verified outcomes that identifies what Denver Seminary alumni are doing five, ten and fifteen years post-graduation. The purpose of this is to give testimony to the impact of Denver Seminary students and to tell the stories of how they are engaging the needs of the world with the redemptive power of the gospel and the life-changing truth of Scripture. While we understand that not all of our graduates are engaged in redemptive endeavors, we believe that a high percentage are engaged in contexts where they are using their Seminary education to further the Kingdom of God. This is a compelling message for donors and potential students alike as they desire to support and enter into activities that they believe are worthwhile and show verifiable outcomes.
Additionally, this position will research, strategize, and launch a solid alumni engagement strategy and develop channels by which this can become an established system to ensure ongoing alumni efforts for continued involvement, expansion, depth of impact, and sustainability. The alumni engagement strategy will improve services to alumni by providing them with better resources and connections, expand the influence of Denver Seminary and support recruitment, and increase the Seminary’s financial base, through increased donor support, specifically ramping up the percentage of alumni who become regular donors.
