Women Engage is a dynamic, intergenerational community of women in Denver committed to pursuing communal development and personal growth. Alongside Denver Seminary, we address these areas from a perspective that engages and proclaims the redemptive power of the gospel and the life-changing truth of scripture. There are four guiding values that define the structure of Women Engage: LEARN, PRAY, SERVE, and GIVE.

About the Speaker
Allison Myers, MA, NCC, LPC has spent hundreds of hours within safe house walls with survivors of sexual exploitation and has worked with them on all aspects of their lives. In addition to overseeing the residential, non-residential and continued care programs, she cultivates and maintains community collaborations and partnerships.
Street’s Hope’s mission is to provide direct and wraparound services to women who have experienced sexual exploitation through human trafficking, commercial sex work and/or street-involved sex trading. Street's Hope envisions a world where all women are free from sexual exploitation, and can choose the direction of their lives through education and employment.
Opportunity to Serve
We have an opportunity to serve women who have experienced sexual exploitation associated with human trafficking, the commercial sex industry, or street-involved sex trading.
On Tuesday, May 8th please consider bringing stamps, bus passes, and/or gift cards* to our Women Engage gathering.
These small items create big impact as they allow Street’s Hope clients to communicate, transport, and fund their own needs. This is a life skill. Many of their clients have lacked the education and access to resources. Street's Hope envisions a world where all women are free from sexual exploitation and can choose the direction of their lives through the use and pursuit of education and employment. Largest barriers to these things often come down to transportation, communication, and ability to rely on oneself. Utilizing small amount gift cards allows each person to identify and then meet their own needs.
*Gift cards should be in amounts of $5-$25. Suggested retailers include: Target, King Soopers, & Walgreens.
