Administrative & Creative Marketing Assistant

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

To support the vision, mission and guiding principles of Authentic Life Church by using their administrative, logistic and operational skills to support multiple Pastors and Staff members. They function as effectively and efficiently as possible; completing administrative projects, managing projects, tasks and research as directed in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.

ABOUT ALC:

Authentic Life Church is a new and growing church of about 600 and exists to help people build authentic relationships with God and others.  We execute this purpose by focusing on growing people in worship, service, generosity, community, and evangelism.   We are an outreach church, focused on creating environments that are conducive to both bringing in the unsaved, reaching them with the gospel, and discipling them toward maturity.  Our preaching style is relational and our worship is God centered and deeply experiential. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Executive Business Administration Department

  • Warmly welcome and serve staff and guests at front desk.
  • Receive packages, mail, etc. and distribute to staff.
  • Answer the welcome center phone and communicate with congregation.
  • Build trust by maintaining confidence of information.
  • Prepare conference room for staff meetings and interviews (aesthetic and refreshments)

Communications Department

  • Media marketing (Google ads, Facebook/Instagram ads, etc)
  • Manage email, voice mail and communication requests in a timely, thorough manner.
  • Receive all Graphics requests.
  • Oversee Outsourcing for videos and graphics.
  • Handle social media planning and execution (gathering photos, stories, content sharing, etc).
  • Handle all Sunday Service Paperwork (service plans, scheduling, bulletins, etc.)
  • Design, purchase and sell ALC Merch (make sure table is staffed at all events)

Executive Pastor of Worship Services

  • Oversee and organize basecamp project management.
  • Manage planning center.
  • Plan worship/tech events.
  • Set up appointments and dinners.
  • Manage financial receipts and credit card reports.

High School and Young Adult Operations Assistance

  • Research, plan, book events and retreats.
  • Manage calendars and websites for High School and Young Adults
  • Weekly emails to parents
  • Social media. Advertising for events and building community through fun and personal posts.
  • Assist with guest services for High School and Young Adults.

Discipleship & Leadership Development Pastor

  • Process and maintain Life Group sign ups seasonally.
  • Assist with ‘Say Yes’ volunteer recruiting and placement seasonally.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by executive team
  • Model servant leadership and exhibit a helpful, joyful attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in administrative work.
  • Must have strong communication, computer and organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient in the use of standard office tools and software.
  • Working knowledge of adobe photo shop and illustrator is desired (but not required).
  • Must be willing and able to work at a fast pace within a variety of settings and circumstances, with composure and flexibility.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of trust and should be ever conscious of the need for a high level of confidentiality, and exercise discernment and wise judgement.
  • Must be a self-starter and team player that is loyal to the vision of the ministry.
  • Must be willing to attend Authentic Life Church.
  • Must be willing to participate in weekend services and all-church activities, including staff and prayer meetings.
  • Must have a relationship with Jesus Christ and display a high level of Christian ethics, morals, professionalism and confidentiality.
