Demonstrate Commitment to Cherry Hills Christian School

  • Be an active, engaged member of the school community
  • Attend and serve at school-wide, all-hands-on-deck events (Examples: Meet & Greet, Back to School Night, Open Houses, Parent Teacher Conferences, etc)

Assist and Support Director as a School and Instructional Leader

  • Ensure all team members know and uphold safety and security procedures
  • Provide instructional training, coaching and feedback to teachers and staff with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Work collaboratively with the Academic Leadership Team to ensure curriculum maps are aligned, implemented, and updated as needed
  • Assist in leading and coordinating professional development opportunities t
  • Partner with the Academic Services Department

Cultivate Positive Relationships with Children and Families

  • Connect relationally with children and parents
  • Provide a safe and orderly school environment by administering consistent discipline policies and procedures
  • Support teachers in their efforts to thoroughly know each child’s needs and plan for personalized learning opportunities that increase student growth and achievement

Leadership Administrative Responsibilities

  • Is knowledgeable about Cherry Hills Christian School policies and procedures to assist with day-to-day operations
  • Respond to all communication with professionalism, discretion and a service orientation

Demonstrates a Commitment to Growth

  • Receive and apply training and development from the Director
  • Actively participate in yearly goal setting and reflection
  • Attends department and all-staff meetings

Model Servant Leadership and Exhibit a Helpful, Joyful Attitude

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Classroom Teaching Experience required
  • Administrative certification required
  • A minimum of two years educational leadership experience
  • Must have a flexible attitude with a servant’s heart
