Campus Pastor – West Bank
The Campus Pastor for West Bank is responsible for restarting the campus of Wooddale Church in the West Bank neighborhood which leverages our business venture “Seven Corners Coffee” as their meeting location. This role will require an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to recruit, develop, and disciple people in a non-traditional environment. This role also directly oversees the business manager of Seven Corners Coffee in Minneapolis. The position of pastor encompasses a range of ministry responsibilities including service leading, vision setting and overseeing ministry teams, pastoral care, and community building.
The Campus Pastor is an extension of the Pastoral Leadership Team of Wooddale Church at the specific campus. This role is responsible for all aspects of the ministry occurring at this campus. This includes, but is not limited to, providing leadership and development to the staff, volunteers and attenders, creating a culture that supports the mission and vision of Wooddale Church, pastoral care, performance management, and coordination for services with centralized ministries.
Oversee weekly gathering/service, contextualized to the unique demographics of the community.
Responsible for building effective discipleship groups systems which foster church growth and depth of spiritual maturity.
Establish key relationships within the community which help to expand the mission and identify opportunities to serve the distinct needs of the community.
Oversee and manage the campus budget, under the guidance of Wooddale’s CFO.
Oversee business management to support relational connections from coffee shop patrons to involvement with the church.
Must have a spiritual commitment to God and exhibit a godly lifestyle.
Remain a member in good standing at Wooddale Church and regularly participate in the Worship Service at Wooddale Church.
Subscribe to and affirm Wooddale Church’s Statement of Faith and employee manual and covenant.
Master’s degree required.
Must be a loyal team member and work under the direction of leadership; is an extension of the Senior Pastor at the campus.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and can build strong relationships in the community.
Must be a self-starter, innovator, and entrepreneur.
Needs to be organized and able to delegate when needed, ability to manage and engage staff at the campus location.
Ability to lead and grow the campus, employees, and volunteers.
Able to articulate an executable strategy for the campus development.
Needs to have basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Reports to the Pastor of Campus Development
Works with other pastoral staff and ministries across the church
Supervises campus staff and business managers
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK & TRAVEL
Typical schedule includes weekday hours as well as weekend services and responsibilities.
Schedule includes working evenings, weekend, and extended hours as holidays and other events require.
Requires the ability to regularly commute to and work from the campuses as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This job operates in an office setting and will include using standard office equipment. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and reach with hands and arms. This jobs also requires the ability to lift 30 pounds.
