About the role

The Centre Director will serve as Lifeline Christian Mission’s regional leader and ambassador for Denver, Colorado and the surrounding area. This leader will engage individuals, groups, churches, organizations and businesses in acts of service and generosity. These meet the physical and spiritual needs of individuals, both locally and globally, which Lifeline is uniquely positioned to serve!

You’ll report to the Senior Director of Centre Strategy.

How you will make a difference in the ministry (Responsibilities)  

 

  • Build healthy relationships with surrounding churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals, who provide resources to and send volunteer/participant teams to serve at the Centre
  • Securing and connecting key donors (local businesses and philanthropists) to the Lifeline vision through the Centre; this is what funds the Centre
  • Effectively communicate life-changing stories resulting from Lifeline’s work
  • Recruit, train, and empower teams of volunteers in increasing numbers from surrounding churches/communities and constantly populating the Centre to serve
  • Create a team-based culture fostered and guarded throughout the Centre for all participants
  • Develop a network of people who are passionate about meeting the food insecurity need of people around the world
  • Organize and lead volunteer meetings in support of Centre goals and strategies
  • Identify and equip volunteers who have capacity to take substantive leadership roles and responsibilities on behalf of the Centre Director, including in the director’s absence (i.e. leaders of leaders)
  • Keep a clean, tidy, safe, well-maintained facility that provides a welcoming first impression and engaging experience for participants/volunteers and visitors
  • Increase numbers of volunteers/participants who take the next steps in Lifeline’s engagement pathway because of their encounter/experience at the Centre
  • Form and communicate with a partnership team who will pray for you and your ministry at Lifeline, along with engaging with and contributing to the ministry.

 

You’ll sweep us off our feet if you have… 

 

  • Strong leadership skills and experience of leading staff, teams, and/or volunteers.
  • Retail experience knowledge/management
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in project/program management 
  • Been told you’re an amazing networker! 

 

Your work location

You’ll work from our Denver Centre, which is located in Parker, Colorado. 

 

Lifeline is a flexible work environment where employees can work remotely from their chosen location, unless working near/within a specific location is required. Lifeline has U.S. locations in Charlotte (NC), Columbus (OH), Denver (CO),  Indianapolis (IN), Lexington (KY), Louisville (KY). You will interact with other staff from across the US and Canada at these locations and staff who work remotely.

 

We also value the importance of gathering together in person! So occasional travel to another Lifeline location or ministry event is required and is compensated accordingly. Additionally, there would be the opportunity to travel to Lifeline’s various international locations to experience the ministry firsthand. 

 

Salary

$55k-65k a year
