We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Customer Relations Representative to join our team. This person will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales. This person will also support existing customers with specifying, installing, and experiencing our products.

Clark Synthesis is an audio company that has been manufacturing unique and fun Tactile Sound Transducers and Underwater Loudspeakers since 1994. Clark Synthesis products are used to in Theme Park Attractions, Fully Immersive Virtual Reality Experiences, Military & Commercial Training Simulators, Home Theaters, Swimming Pools, Spas, and more. Our office is located near C470 and Santa Fe, and the hours are 8AM-4:30PM, M-F.

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a thoughtful and friendly person who enjoys working with customers and making the company successful. We are looking for a person who enjoys taking on multiple responsibilities at a time, has a keen attention to detail, is responsible, independent, and likes to learn.

In this position you will assist customers with purchasing, installing, and using our audio products. You will assist customers via chat, email, and over the phone. There will be an engineer available to assist with any technical questions. You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers in many ways, such as handwriting Thank-You notes and snail-mailing them. Please note: this position includes packing and shipping orders.


– Any sales experience will be helpful, though not required.

– Build relationships with current and new customers

– Maintain a courteous and friendly attitude when interacting with customers in a constant changing environment.

– Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

– Any understanding of audio systems will also be helpful, though not required.

– Any experience with languages/cultures outside of the United States is also a plus, though not required.

– A strong understanding of math is required, as you will be responsible to help swimming pool designers with Underwater Loudspeaker placement.

– Strong computer skills – proficient in MS Office, Word, and Excel

– Excellent communication, both written and verbal – comfortable with interacting with colleagues


· Excellent Interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills are essential

· Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service

· Ability to communicate effectively with management and other departments

· BA or BS is required

· Experience with a Customer Relationship Management system is a plus

· Must possess excellent customer service skills

· Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

· Ability to oversee multiple customers at once
