Description:

Purpose: To provide data entry and support services to Accounting and Development teams.

Scope: The Data Entry and Accounting Assistant is responsible for furthering God’s kingdom through supporting the Accounting team and Development team at MOPS.

 

Accounting Responsibilities

· Distribute invoices to budget managers for approval as needed.

· Make sure proper authorization is clearly noted on each invoice.

· Enter all invoices into accounting system in a timely manner.

· Run reports of invoices due for weekly check runs.

· Maintain accounting files.

· Manage monthly credit card statements and receipts.

· Manage end of month counts for office equipment.

· Contact customers regarding failed payments. Track in call center.

Data Entry

· Process and batch donor gifts into the CRM.

· Generate appropriate acknowledgments per established protocols acknowledging donor levels and purpose of gift within established time frames from receipt of gift.

· Responsible for printing and mailing donation receipts.

· Enter activities (calls, emails, visit notes, etc.) into database for caseload managers and Director.

· Provide excellent experience for donors through accurate record keeping and gift receipting.

 

Administrative Support

· Assist the Development team in donor mailings and all special projects.

· Mail ministry impact reports to caseloads for Director and Donor Reps.

· Work closely with annual giving staff and major gift solicitors to manage the acknowledgement process by selecting appropriate letters for each donor, promptly getting letters to signers, proofreading for accuracy, and tracking that each donor is appropriately thanked.

· Provide administrative support to the Development and Campaign Manager as needed.

· Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries for office.

· Act as primary data processor for common data entry into the MOPS CRM system (Fusion).

· Manage inventory for office needs.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Ability to do some occasional lifting and moving of boxes of 25 lbs.

Benefits and Pay

· Hourly Rate: $14-$16/hour
