Volunteer Ministry Description
OMF’s volunteer ministry provides believers in the U.S. with opportunities for involvement in
an environment that enables them to obey the Great Commission by partnering with OMF to
reach East Asians for Christ.
Position Description
We are seeking an experienced administrator with organizational and communication skills,
who is mainly responsible for executing the administrative responsibilities of the Development
Team and communication with organizational ministry partners.
Major Responsibilities
Communication
Manage the U.S. Development Team’s email address and respond to emails in a timely
manner.
Communicate with organizational ministry partners who have questions about the
projects they are giving to.
Help with planning and hosting the quarterly New Ministry Partner Zoom call.
Coordinate the entries of address changes into the OASIS database.
Produce a monthly list of new organizational ministry partners and write thank-you
notes.
Projects
Coordinate with the Donations and Communication teams in adding, updating, and
removing PartnerHub projects.
Connect with project leaders to be updated on current projects.
Qualifications
Passion for East Asia and reaching its peoples for God’s glory.
The ability to work within an international, interdenominational organization.
Strong administrative skills.
Strong communication skills.
A teachable spirit and flexible attitude.
System Requirements
Because your computer may access and/or store sensitive information, OMF requires that
your computer:
Have a login password with at least 12 characters, including Alpha, numeric and special
symbols.
Be encrypted. For Windows 10/11 users this may require an upgrade to the Pro version.
Have anti-virus software installed and functional.
Macintosh users should have “Find My Mac” turned on.
NOTE: OMF IT staff will assist you in meeting these requirements.
Compensation
This position is volunteer-based, but may be reimbursed for pre-approved ministry expenses.
