Director of Christian Education

We exist to lead people to a life-changing and ever-growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Thousands of children in our community do not know God, nor understand what it means to follow the Lord. We feel a heavy responsibility to help young people (and their parents) become disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe that the right person, placed in the role of Director of Christian Education, supported by church leadership, partnered up with the congregation, and empowered by the Spirit, is essential to fulfilling our vision of seeing San Luis Valley children and youth become followers of Jesus.

The Director of Christian Education (DCE) is responsible to organize and resource Living Water Bible Fellowship’s Kindergarten-High School education programs. The DCE will personally take charge of Sunday morning K-5 ministries while overseeing and staffing other ministries or programs serving youth eighteen and under. Professional Qualifications

We prefer candidates have a master’s degree in education, with demonstrated effectiveness in teaching children and leading educational teams. Applicants with bachelor’s degrees in education will be evaluated based on their experience and vocational achievements.
