Job Title: Director of Kids Ministry
Reports to: Director of Strategic Leadership and Development
Works closely with: Office and Ministry Staff
Oversees: Children’s Resident/Assistants, Childcare Coordinator, and Volunteers
Position Status: Full Time Exempt

The children’s ministry of South offers relevant, age-appropriate learning and connection opportunities for children birth through 5th grade. We’re dedicated to partnering with parents to help raise children to have a thriving relationship with Jesus.

A thriving and growing children’s ministry will offer Sunday morning and special holiday service opportunities as well as family outreach events and summer programs/VBS.
Parents will have access to parenting programs, classes and small groups designed to support parents and families during this critical stage of parenting.
The creation of a team of dedicated childcare workers to provide childcare and ministry programming to support week-day offerings and classes as needed.

Four-year college degree preferred.
A heart for children and families.
Two years’ experience in part-time or full-time children’s ministry or teaching roles.
Proven track record in growing a team of people and inspiring them to action to achieve a common goal.
Communication, organization, and people skills.
