Zion Church Worship San ClementeMeet Zion Church:

On January 26, 2020, we launched Zion Church at Shorecliffs Middle School in San Clemente, CA. As hundreds of people attended our very first service, we knew God was up to something special. That day, 22 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ, and countless more found a place to call home. Yet, it was only seven weeks after our launch that Covid-19 hit the world and we looked to the Lord for what was next.

From gathering in an online-only capacity, to holding services in parking lots, God continued to strengthen and grow Zion Church. Even a global pandemic cannot stop a move of God. Over the last four years we’ve seen a parking lot become a church, a crowd become a family, and our city impacted by the love and power of Jesus. Though the world around us is constantly changing, our vision will always remain the same: We exist to see the lost saved, the saved ignited, and the world changed.

Since launch, we’ve witnessed over 1,400 people give their lives to Jesus Christ. We’ve developed, empowered, and equipped servant leaders to live out their God-given purpose. We’ve activated a body of believers to bring the hope of Jesus to the hurting, lost, and lonely, through foster care, adoption, city outreach initiatives, and global missions efforts.

Currently, our Sunday services are held at San Clemente High School. Our location has provided us greater opportunities to reach even more for Christ and invest in the next generation. Yet, the Lord is continuing to expand our vision and prepare us for the growth he has ahead. We are currently in negotiation to secure a permanent facility to call home, making space for many more to come to know God, discover their purpose, and step into their destiny.  We believe the future is bright and the best is yet to come!
