The Facilities Coordinator ensures an optimal working environment in our building at all times. The Facilities Coordinator is expected to coordinate the work of maintaining the school and grounds in a good condition and will work to provide custodial needs in a timely and efficient manner, while honoring Christ at all times.

 Lead and Coordinate Daily Facility School Needs and Functions

  • Be responsible for the care, maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the school building
  • Ensure the school facility is prepared for daily operations including lunch setup, tear down, and cleanup, chapel room setup and tear down, gate access is open and cones are placed properly for carpool patterns
  • Serve as the buildings custodial resource
  • Inspect the building grounds for safety and keep accurate record of Safety Data Sheets.
  • Prepare and setup rooms and areas for meetings
  • Handle and respond to urgent maintenance needs in a timely manner and remain in communication with other staff members regarding timelines
  • Make sure the facility complies with fire, health, and safety inspections and that any needed repairs or upgrades are done

Facilitate Weekly and Monthly Building Essentials for Operations

  • Coordinate deep cleanings of lobby doors and glass, hallway floors and stairwell areas
  • Restock and maintain staff kitchen and break areas
  • Manage equipment and supply needs, including furniture, kitchen supplies and cleaning supplies

As Needed Seasonal and Yearly Building Maintenance Duties

  • Oversee minor building repairs as needed
  • Seasonal snow removal
  • Serve as the point person for any school furniture moves, wall hanging requests or outside promotional signs as needed

Serve as a Point Person Cultivate Positive Relationships with Children and Families

  • Connect relationally with children and families during drop-off and pick-up times
  • Provide a safe and orderly school environment
  • Pray for the children and families you serve

Ensure Accurate, Timely Response to Communication Requests via phone, email and walkie talkies

  • Manage email, voicemail, and communication requests in a timely, thorough manner

Demonstrates a Commitment to Growth

  • Utilizes educational opportunities and evaluation processes for professional growth
  • Attends department and all-staff meetings

  • High school graduate
  • Have knowledge of principles and practices of facilities operations, maintenance, and management
  • A minimum of two years’ experience preferred
  • Must have a flexible attitude with a servant’s heart


SALARY RANGE: $16 – $20 per hour
