Summary: 

This position with West Colfax Lampstand will live onsite at Flats at Stuart and will work to Build Community by implementing events and gatherings and creating relationships and connections within the community.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Love God, Love people, Love West Colfax
• Live onsite at Flats at Stuart and actively pursue Vision, Mission, and Values of West Colfax Lampstand
• Organize, develop, and attend weekly Community Meals and additional Community Events, Activities, and Celebrations
• Help manage social media platforms for Flats at Stuart, including promotion of upcoming events and activities
• Develop and maintain relationships and “Do Life” with residents and surrounding neighbors
• Meet monthly with West Colfax Lampstand Leadership to walk through monthly goals, expectations, and progress
• Meet monthly to relationally connect with West Colfax Lampstand Housing Program Participants 
• Connect with local Community Resources and Partnerships and share these resources with residents at Stuart
• Oversee Car Share Program and helps complete regular maintenance of Car Share vehicle 
• Organize, develop, and attend Community Service Projects, including onsite weekly Food Rescue Program

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree 
• Current enrollment in Masters Program at Denver Seminary 
• Proficient with Google apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and basic computer skills
• Ability to pass a background check

Additional Components:

• Commit to 8-10 hours each week to Roles and Responsibilities 
• Subsidized rent of a 2 bedroom apartment
• Internship Opportunity- earn course credit for Master’s of Art Professional Degree Programs Internship Course Requirements (CE511 as approved by course instructor)
