SUMMARY

The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for various clerical duties, providing high quality customer service to all clients, retrieving and forwarding voice messages, answering incoming calls, responding to caller questions and providing information, collecting payment and assisting with schedule changes.

DUTIES

  • Greet all visitors in a polite and courteous manner
  • Check-in clients
  • Ensure payment forms, disclosures, and HIPPA documents are signed as required
  • Collect payment as directed by Billing Specialist
  • Assist clients with scheduling and changing appointments
  • Perform audit of appointment charges and payments received
  • Manage parent report measures
  • Answer incoming calls and respond or forward to appropriate staff member
  • Respond to messages from general voice mail box throughout the day
  • Keep reception area, waiting room, and kitchen organized, clean and tidy
  • Manage faxes, scans, and email through STAR info box
  • Accept mail and packages
  • Keep all filing current
  • Provide administrative support to other members of the clinic staff as needed
  • Maintain Cash box
  • Acquire and maintain current knowledge of STAR programs and services
  • Perform monthly inventory count
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years administrative experience
  • Computer literate, intranet, and web savvy
