Furniture & Equipment Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary:  ChurchPartner, a 27-year old Littleton based leader in the church supply industry, is looking for a furniture inside sales representative  who has the skills and positive attitude to work with our customers nationwide.  Products are predominantly sold via our ecommerce platform.  The right person will have strong analytical and organizational skills along with a “can-do” attitude. We are seeking a self-driven person who strives to use their talents to make the company, their team, and themselves more productive.

This person will perform the following tasks:

  • Process telephone orders for furniture and equipment
  • Help customers with their needs on all aspects of our product lines
  • Follow up on leads generated by manufacturers and other sources
  • Create new sales from existing customer database and external soiurces
  • Create quotes for customers and follow up on them to sales closure
  • Communicate to customers about promotions and special offers
  • Maintain and expand product knowledge on church and school furnishings/equipment
  • Update product information on both our website and in our internal database
  • Provide input in product selection and website content
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to build relationships

This successful candidate must possess the following skills:

  • Positive attitude that exudes friendliness and a willingness to help each customer with their particular needs
  • Detail-oriented work style to ensure accuracy across all tasks
  • Capable of managing a steady stream of phone calls and balancing that with computer input and processes
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities to identify, isolate, and suggest solutions to create a “can-do” relationship with all customers
  • Natural inclination to be proactive in identifying potential problems and taking the initiative to solve them before they surface
  • Comfortable working within the Christian community
  • Working experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Thrives working in a small office environment (8-10 people)
  • Good telecommunication and writing skills are necessary for customer service and sales work

 

 

In addition, but not required, the preferred candidate would have experience working with church and/or school furnishings, be conversational in Spanish, and be familiar with our accounting system – Sage MAS 200 (ERP 100).

 

This is a full-time salaried position (Monday-Friday) with an initial salary commensurate with their experience. Salary range begins in the low $50’s.  Health insurance, vacation, and other benefits are also included.
