Gospel Advancing Training Specialist

To activate key influential youth ministry leaders around the world through involvement with Dare 2 Share programs and resources in order to mobilize them to multiply Gospel Advancing Leaders in order to fuel the global Gospel Advancing Movement.

The Gospel Advancing Training Specialist (GATS) is a highly relational and results driven individual primarily responsible for developing strategies and tactics that mobilize influential youth leaders around the world to accelerate the Gospel Advancing Movement in their context. Youth ministry is defined differently around the world, so these two pillars – church assisting and youth mobilization for peer-to-peer evangelism – need to be a priority for this role.

 The GATS’s responsibilities include:

  1. Gospel Advancing Relationships (50%)
    1. Work with our various Gospel Advancing Network leaders to glean front-line youth ministry intel and resource their networks to support their local Gospel Advancing efforts.
    2. Facilitate collaboration, community and communication primarily with our US-based Gospel Advancing Leaders helping them grow in their Gospel Advancing journeys as well as multiplying the movement.
    3. Relied on as a trainer of Dare 2 Share irreducible minimum training content.
    4. Help develop strategy and drive collaboration & community within the world-wide Gospel Advancing Tribe.
  2. Divisional Leadership (30%)
    1. Provide leadership to the Ministry Advocate Team so that they:
      1. Maintain Gospel Advancing focused relationships with our youth leaders
      2. Meet and exceed all team-related KPIs.
    2. Lead by influence and by appointment on any cross-functional teams within our division and with the organization at large.
    3. Manage external “staff” such as vendors, contractors, and those who train our content and materials in the field.
    4. Training of trainers, with a focus on generating and multiplying Gospel Advancing Leaders.
  3. Gospel Advancing Resources (20%)
    1. Collaborate and contribute to the overall Gospel Advancing journey.
    2. Work within our division (and cross-functionally as needed) to speak into the development of Gospel Advancing resources primarily through curation and crowd-sourcing, creating only when necessary.


  • Personal familiarity with Dare 2 Share Ministries’ products, services, and events and the Gospel Advancing Ministry philosophy
  • Degree in Biblical studies, youth ministry, pastoral care or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in leadership positions, preferably within the church/ministry
  • Experience (preferably hands-on) in cross-cultural communication and ministry
  • Proven ability to communicate well verbally and written (small- and large-scale training and/or preaching experience required)
  • Working knowledge and proficiencies in CRM and customer service
  • Understanding of contextualization and a high CQ (cultural intelligence)
  • Strong organizational and technology skills (Microsoft Office suite proficiency a must)


  • Increase in quantity and quality of Gospel Advancing Leaders worldwide.
  • Regularly report on Dare 2 Share’s overall training impact.
  • Above average customer satisfaction, as polled through surveys.
  • 24-hour turnaround in communication (internal and external).
