Are you curious about faith, work, and culture and sharpening your professional skills? Denver Institute’s cohort-based internship program combines real-world experience with personal and spiritual growth and opportunities to strengthen your connections across the city. DIFW provides interdisciplinary, whole-person development while interns help meet critical staffing needs in the organization. We love sharing our vision with interns and equipping them with the skills they need to love God and serve their neighbors wherever their callings lead.

Roles/Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Open to undergraduate/postgraduate students, early career professionals, or mid-career professionals in job transition
  • Outstanding communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Commitment to work as a team and coach volunteers
  • Strategic thinker who can articulate new ways to think about our work or solve problems
  • Some physical lifting involved related to meeting and event setup (30 pounds)
  • Affirm DIFW’s statement of faith, the Nicene Creed

Time Commitment

  • Twelve-month commitment running January–December (2022)
  • Work 5-10 hours per week; includes attendance at DIFW staff meetings (2x month on Tuesdays) and intern/Faith & Work Learning Community meeting (2x month on Tuesdays)
  • Intern kick-off meetings: January 13–14, 2022 (Required)
  • Participate in Denver Institute’s two-day summer staff retreat
  • Some weekend or evening hours required, depending on role
