Part-Time Kids Pastor 

Reports To: Lead Pastor

Do you have a drive to see people come to know Christ? A passion for making disciples? A heart to serve? And a positive attitude? Then Fresh Hope Church might just be the place for you! We are looking for a PT Kids Pastor (15-20 hrs/week) to help build a welcoming and nurturing culture at Fresh Hope Church that leads kids and their families to Jesus.

Who We Are: We are a new church plant, built out of a pandemic, reaching the Southeast Denver metro area. We lead authentically and honestly and do all things with prayer first. We laugh a lot and have fun!

Primary Objective: To build a welcoming and nurturing culture at Fresh Hope Church that leads kids and their families to Jesus.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Committed 15-20 hours/week
  • Build an inclusive ministry for our families (parents and children) that is in line with the overall vision and mission of Fresh Hope
  • Coordinate with the Lead Pastor and kids volunteers to create well-planned and engaging Sunday kids experiences
  • Create and implement systems which provide optimum function of the weekly Fresh Hope Kids programs and events
  • Recruit, train, and equip Fresh Hope Kids and Volunteers who will prepare parents and children to grow together as followers and disciples of Jesus
  • Organize, delegate and/or oversee special events and Fresh Hope Kids related groups 
  • Schedule and maintain the volunteer team in Planning Center
  • Implement necessary technology to maintain quality and relevant worship and learning environments and check-in system
  • Pursue knowledge of best practices and industry trends
  • Creates and communicates (in compliance with State and Federal laws and insurance) safe child practices, and including wellness policy, teaching standards of conduct and behavioral expectations for volunteers, staff, parents and children in our care
  • Work with volunteers to continue to develop fun, thought provoking curriculum
  • Maintain clear and regular communications with Fresh Hope families including updates, upcoming events and opportunities and policies
  • Meet weekly with the Lead Pastor

  • Leadership that can attract and mobilize others 
  • Willingness to work in cooperation with Lead Pastor and others inside and outside the church
  • Strong leadership ability with organizational and administrative skills as well as careful attention to detail
  • Comfortable with systems such as Planning Center, Google Drive


  • A personal commitment to follow Jesus
  • Demonstrate commitment to see Fresh Hope function within the scope of best practices in ministry principles
  • Abide by the spiritual discipline of tithing 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and internet navigation
  • Familiarity with the Orange Curriculum
  • Children’s Ministry Experience 


  • $12,000/year (paid 1K monthly)
