Description:
LEAF, Lyons Emergency & Assistance Fund, is expanding its Mental Wellness & Addiction Recovery Program to include more addiction and youth-related services. We are hiring two part-time clinicians.

Job Description 

We are looking for a part-time, integrative mental health clinician who is interested in trauma-based and addiction-related modalities and seeking to work with clients in a mountain-based community. This therapist will lead groups, administer individual counseling, co-create and implement new programming around youth and substance abuse/addiction recovery, and participate in some community-based events.

  • In-person position

  • Two part-time positions (20-30 hours) or potentially one full-time position available

  • $25 per hour

  • We provide no-cost LPCC, LAC, and LCSWP supervision

Required Qualifications 

● Master’s program graduate, working on supervision hours towards LPC or LCSW licensure

●  Holds an LPCC or LCSWP with DORA 

●  Holds CAT or CAS credential, or is willing to explore obtaining 

Expectations 

●  Interested in leading group work and practicing individual counseling, with some focus in addictions counseling and youth program modalities 

●  Desire to co-create new programming, with focus on youth and addiction/substance abuse services 

●  Ability to work independently and in collaboration with supervisory team and program staff 

●  Ability to assess, diagnose, do client intake, and maintain records appropriately 

●  Open minded, non-judgmental, self-motivated, compassionate, and flexible

●  Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in a mountain community setting 

●  Ability to manage crisis situations clinically when necessary 

●  Understanding of rural/mountain culture or interest in learning, with a desire to work in a small mountain community
