The OMF (U.S.) Prayer Mobilization Team exists to encourage, enable and equip individuals and communities to pray for the love of Jesus to be shared among East Asian peoples. As the Middle Adult Prayer Mobilizer, you will encourage, enable and equip “middle adults” — adults between the ages of 35 and retirement — to pray. This role requires a love for Jesus Christ and a passion to see adults praying for East Asia’s peoples.

Major Responsibilities

Mobilize Middle Adults to Pray

• Help create relevant ways to engage middle adults and their families in prayer for OMF and East Asia.
• Identify new ideas for mobilizing individuals and families to pray.
• Assist the Middle Adult Prayer Mobilization Coordinator with contacting and following up with current and potential prayer contacts.
• Assist the Middle Adult Prayer Mobilization Coordinator in promoting initiatives to use with middle adults in communities and churches.
• Understand the security issues involved and ensure the security of sensitive prayer requests, both personal and field.
• Complete other reasonable duties as assigned.

Invest in Growth Opportunities

• Assist in recruiting and equipping new volunteers to engage middle adults in prayer.
• Continue to learn about East Asian ministries to better cast vision and focus on prayer needs.
• Research and learn from other organizations best practices in reaching and inspiring middle adults.
