Youth and Children's Ministry
Neighborhood Kids Coordinator
At Neighborhood Church, we exist to lead our neighbors to life-changing relationships with Jesus. Our heart beats for people who are crushed by the weight of trying to measure up to an impossible standard. We know the cure isn’t more striving, more rules, or more religion, but a relationship with the only one who ever has and ever will be perfect. We want to help the hurting, the confused and the barely-holding-it-together discover who they are in light of who God is, and live like it matters.
We’re a new church plant headed toward Grand Opening in September 2023. We’re gathering a team of passionate Kingdom-builders to launch and begin to carry the vision forward into reality as we follow Jesus together.
PURPOSE
The Neighborhood Kids Coordinator has a knack for fitting dream-sized ships into kid-sized bottles. Neighborhood Kids will provide relevant, age-appropriate learning and connection opportunities for kids from birth through 6th grade, and partner with parents to help kids have a strong relationship with Jesus. The Neighborhood Kids Coordinator will invest in the development and leadership of volunteers, including appropriate placement based on their personal gifts and passions.
NOTE: The primary need is for a part-time Neighborhood Kids Coordinator. There is an opportunity for additional hours and compensation by combining responsibilities in other areas (Administration, Tech, A/V, Website, Social Media, and/or others according to gifting and interest).
