Job Purpose 

The focus of this position is to manage the front office operations of Joshua Station and Mile High Ministries and to be the face of Joshua Station and Mile High Ministries to many people who come into our building. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

As our Office Manager you will: 

Supervise other front desk employees 

Oversee and perform operations of the reception area such as answering front desk phone, answering questions about the program of Joshua Station and other aspects of MHM accurately; maintain an organized and functional workspace and entry area; welcoming residents and guests, receipt and sorting of resident and staff mail, open and close of main building, provide access to laundry, kitchen and other on-site facilities for residents, volunteers and vendors. 

Oversee, perform and assign tasks related to various critical logs and calendars, processing and tracking of resident rent payments, resident chore assignments and inspection, daily cash shift operations, deposits, in-kind donations.   

Assist with maintaining security and safety of residents and staff including managing high conflict interactions.

Welcome all who come into the building.

Conduct tours for donors, colleagues, service groups, etc.  Be an ambassador for the work and place of Joshua Station and Mile High Ministries 

Attend to/assist with various tasks as required, including but not limited to (physical labor) such as shoveling walks, moving furniture, trimming hedges, etc. per direction of facilities manager, volunteer coordinator or other staff. 

Maintain communication with Family Advocates and other program staff via email, dialogue, or daily shift reports. 

Utilize a posture of empowerment, professionalism and grace to develop healthy, positive relationships with Joshua Station residents. 

Demonstrate positive and trauma informed modeling in Joshua Station community.   

Attend JS team meetings and MHM staff meetings. 

 Other duties as assigned.
