Job Description
The Operations and Donations Manager will work closely with the founders of UnbridledACTS to administrate and run the charitable giving of multiple companies. Paramount to this position is the ability to work with a high degree of independence, and juggle various projects at once, while maintaining a clear view of how each project supports the organization’s mission. If you love building relationships, sharing your enthusiasm for important causes, and impacting cities through the administration of philanthropic donations, this position is a great fit for you. In this role, you will be an integral part of a dynamic organization responsible for finding philanthropic opportunities for the Unbridled Companies. In an effort to steward our 20/20/60 business model, you will work together with the advisory board to identify and allocate annual givebacks. Additionally, you will work with the founders, to administrate the daily operations of UnbridledACTS. In all of this, you must understand the ins and outs of private foundation administration and work with the legal team to make sure we comply. Successful Candidates will Have the Following:

  • Christian faith with a business mind
  • An understanding of private family foundations and knowledge of fundamental requirements and bylaws
  • Experience with formulating budgets and tracking program finances
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving and time management skills and attention to detail
  • Experience creating and implementing strategic plans
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with limited supervision
  • Be a confidential team player comfortable in both a Christian and non-Christian environment
  • Effective at managing people and tasks
  • Flexible to work longer hours, evenings and weekends as needed

Preferred qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years of relevant experience in a private foundation
  • Familiarity with the local faith community and religious organizations
  • Passion and calling to engage the local faith community in UnbridledACTS’ mission

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Pioneer the role and grow ACTS into new areas of impact
  • Coordinate with the founders and board to lead operations that fulfill their goals
  • Oversee all programs and operations of UnbridledACTS
  • Maintain requirements for a Private Foundation to ensure compliance
  • Work with the legal team to consult on the transition to a Private Foundation
  • Develop and monitor the Foundation’s budget and financial plans
  • Authorize and approve Foundation expenditures including credit card reports
  • Manage the annual external audit process and oversees annual tax return filing
  • Strategize and create content for social media, website, and distributed materials
  • Maintain data entry of the donor management software
  • Plan bi-annual board meetings and record minutes
  • Identify organizations for partnerships with UnbridledACTS in Denver, Canon City, St. Louis, Boston, and San Diego
  • Willing to drive to/from various project sites in your car
  • Provide support to all UnbridledACTS projects and to Founders
  • Embody the Unbridled brand and culture, including character, change, credibility, and community
