Description

The Next Generations Minister is a driven leader who can provide vision, direction and oversight to the preschool, children, youth and college ministries of Liberty Baptist Church Fort O campus. This leader of leaders will be passionate about helping people connect to Liberty’s mission: rescue people, show them what we do and send them out to do what we do.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a DNA carrier –as outlined in the Campus Minister DNA Carrier document.
• Recruit, train and develop volunteers in each area of ministry.
• Develop leadership teams to aid in planning and implementing the plan.
• Champion the comprehensive discipleship pathway for Next Gen Ministry.
• Create, and manage an annual budget for the ministry.
• Identify and engage a team to help plan and implement annual calendar events and special events for all ministries (including but not limited to VBS, Beach Camp, Egg Hunt, D-now, Fall Festival) coordinating them with the Next Gen Minister at Hwy 76 and overall church calendar.
• Build relationships with parents, youth, children and volunteers.
• Lead a life group for the student ministry.
• Lead an exciting, Bible-centered, and culturally relevant, youth service.
• Train and mentor students to become leaders.

Spiritual Criteria

• Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and display spiritual growth
• Affirm Baptist Faith and Message 2000
• Affirm Doctrinal Beliefs and Core Values of Liberty Baptist Church.
• If married, spouse must be supportive of the ministries of Liberty

Skill Set

• Shepherd leader
• Able to teach Scripture in a manner that is biblically sound and culturally relevant
• Organization, administration, and interpersonal relationships
• Self-starter
• Team player with positive attitude
• Exemplary oral and written skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Google and social media
