Position Summary:

The Personnel Ministries Coordinator is responsible for championing policies, executing duties and assisting our workforce with the human resource functions supporting the global mission and vision of WorldVenture.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the advertising and recruiting of potential employees, including website job posting and mailings
  • Conduct applicant reference checks and background checks
  • Conduct onboarding processes for new domestic staff and global workers
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of new employee orientation for domestic staff and international workers
  • Assist in the maintenance of personnel records for domestic staff and global workers
  • Oversee benefit plans and enrollment and renewal process
  • Manage expenses, including timely payment of bills
  • Maintain census of domestic staff and international workers
  • Assist with coordination and execution of monthly domestic staff meetings and events throughout the year
  • Maintain years of service records for domestic staff and global workers for recognition purposes
  • Prepare and audit HR reports
  • Prepare monthly staff notifications for payroll
  • Handle employee relations questions and escalate as necessary
  • Coordinate volunteer receptionists: route general calls, mail, email, packages
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

  • Christian character that reflects and embodies the Christian ethics, beliefs and principles foundational to WorldVenture, and a willingness to subscribe to the doctrinal statement
  • Personal commitment to prayer and active involvement in a local church that shares WorldVenture’s values
  • Service-oriented attitude of assisting and serving others
  • A team player that displays humility and a learner’s attitude

Education and Formal Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Administrative Assistant experience preferred
  • Minimum of three years human resources experience preferred
  • Experience in CRM systems and Salesforce desired
