POSITION OVERVIEW

The Student Pastor oversees Middle & High School students.

This role will oversee students, adult volunteers, and leadership teams. The Student Pastor position requires a “LEADER OF LEADERS”.

CORE Competencies

Visionary Leader, Developer, Highly Relational, Creative, Great Communicator, Innovator

Current Culture:

Our team has a well-established culture that students are not the church of tomorrow but are the church of today. The leadership mindset required for this position is one in which we lead students through adult leaders. We desire to have a growth mindset which requires us to be focused on leadership development and discipleship as our top priority. We are seeking a leader which will engage with our students and parents. The leader we desire is able to connect with the students, confidently lead adult volunteers, and partner with parents. We are looking for someone to join our family ministry team so we can reach this generation together!

WEEKLY WORSHIP EXPERIENCE (MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL)

Every Thursday night from 6:30-9 PM.

WE DESIRE TO DISCIPLE STUDENTS IN THREE WAYS:

1. WEEKLY WORSHIP EXPERIENCE

We strongly believe in presenting a creative, exciting, and life-impacting experience each week, including excellent worship and a relevant message! The first Thursday of every month is “EVERYONE NIGHT”. These nights are evangelistic nights, which provide students with an exciting experience where they can bring their friends.

Our heart is that students not only have a place to BELONG but also a place where they are KNOWN. This happens best in small groups. That’s why we include small groups in our Thursday night experience on the remaining Thursdays of the month.

2. EVENT EXPERIENCES

Our events throughout the year allow students to encounter Jesus intentionally and uniquely. These events are experiences like retreats, camps, and conferences.

3. MISSION EXPERIENCES

We desire students to have a passion for ALL SOULS. We want them to strive to reach those in their community and around the world. We have yearly campaigns to raise awareness and funds for projects that help reach people. These campaigns are not about money raised but about cultivating hearts of generosity. It’s about engaging students’ faith by putting it into action for the kingdom of God globally. We also offer yearly mission trips where students are exposed to other places and cultures. We desire that students have a holistic kingdom worldview.
