Village Seven Presbyterian Church
Posted: 02/07/2023
Salary/Range: $4500 for the summer
Location
Colorado Springs, CO
Description:

Are you in love with Jesus and eager to determine your calling in ministry? If so, look no further my friend, because we have an adventure of a lifetime for you!

Imagine working with Village Seven’s ministry staff and a team of other like-minded college students desiring to serve God through ministering with Village Seven Church and proclaiming the Gospel to Colorado Springs, the West and the World.

Our goal with the Summer Staff is to give a small group of college students a well-rounded experience to learn exactly what it is like to run a children’s, youth or young adult ministry. Depending on your role, you will have the opportunity to prepare lessons, help with VBS, attend camps, plan events, go on mission trips, etc.

Not only will you be challenged to grow in every area of ministry, but we are committed to walking with you so that you grow not only as a leader… but also as a servant of Christ. Simply put, we want to help you find your place in ministry and do whatever we can to help you thrive in your calling!

The position of a Summer Staff is one of servitude. As you prayerfully consider serving, please know that expectations are high and you will be held accountable. Being on Summer Staff is a full-time commitment. No other jobs or summer college courses are allowed. Hiring decisions are based on this completed application (including three references).

We are looking for individuals who already demonstrate a lifestyle of growth and commitment as a disciple of Jesus Christ through…

• A love for God
• A love for the Body of Christ
• A love for the Lost

This program runs from May 15 – August 1. Each summer staffer will be paid $4500 for the summer. If you are from out of town, we will arrange a host home with a Village Seven family.
