Manna Resource Center has three core programs: Manna Connect; the Family Center of Douglas County; and Manna Community Wellness. Manna Connect combines the elements of coaching, community engagement, and career skill advancement to support greater self-sufficiency in the lives of participants. The Family Center of Douglas County is a program built to strengthens families through comprehensive coaching, resource navigation, and mental health support. Manna Community Wellness provides professional mental health support for clients of Manna Connect and the Family Center of Douglas County.

General Job Responsibility
The Team Lead is responsible for implementing our therapeutic child care curriculum on the 2nd
and 4 th Tuesday of every month during our Community Gathering.
This position leads a team of volunteers in a two-generation approach to child care which supports program participant’s
children and therefore the holistic family. The Team Lead will use a variety of therapeutic techniques through the curriculum to engage and support the children in a fun and safe
Specific Job Responsibilities
This position’s role will be to serve as the Team Lead for Infants – Pre – K or Kindergarten – 12 Grade at the Manna ConnectCommunity Gathering’s child care program. This position is twice a month, every month on the 2nd
and 4 th Tuesdays from 5pm – 8pm.
Team Lead will follow the yearly curriculum and be responsible to prep for each week’s
Engage with children and create a fun and safe environment for them
Support and empower your volunteer teams with leading a volunteer huddle each evening
Engage with parents and support them with any “take aways” from the night’s curriculum
Fill out incident reports as needed and make parents aware
Willing team centered approach with a servant’s heart, ready to help set up and tear down
the child care rooms for each Community Gathering
Knowledge and understanding of the complexity of poverty and familiarity working with
issues of poverty.
Experience with family-centered or 2-generational systems of care.
Experience/certification in childcare, family development, social work or counseling.
Experience in child education.
Team player who is willing to help other staff team members when needed.
Must be able to work creatively within a budget and use innovation to continue to build
and improve the child’s experience.
Strong commitment to the Christian Faith.
Salary: $17/hr for 8 hours/month.
