Job Description

A. Adult Music Ministry

disciple the church in biblical worship through example and word
organize, disciple and grow a music team
pray for each team member every day and help pastor them as Jesus leads
mentor leaders
select music
create orchestrations
distribute this music to team members in a timely way
organize and lead weekly rehearsals
lead weekly Sunday morning music
organize and lead the music in seasonal, special and evangelistic events
lead music in weddings and funerals
develop, organize and disciple ensembles and a choir as God provides
coordinate visuals and the bulletin with administration
oversee the audio and visual technology
oversee the music budget

B. Student Music Ministry

disciple adult helpers
disciple the students in biblical worship through example and word
organize, disciple and grow student music teams and ensembles
pray for each team member everyday and help pastor them as Jesus leads
mentor student leaders
select music
create orchestrations
distribute this music to team members in a timely way
organize and lead rehearsals
lead the students to minister in weekly student gatherings
lead students to perform periodically on Sunday mornings
lead students to participate during seasonal, special and evangelistic events
periodically incorporate students into the adult music team
provide individual and small group music lessons in biblical worship, voice and instruments  

C. Youth Discipleship Ministry

     help the student pastor with youth discipleship ministry if time allows

     currently we are asking you to help disciple middle school youth 

help disciple the church in biblical care for students
help disciple a youth ministry team of adults
pray for each youth and adult involved in youth ministry each day
help pastor the youth and their families
help disciple the youth through Life Groups (small groups)
help develop youth into leaders
help our youth reach local youth through evangelism training and opportunities
help with youth events and trips

D. Pastoral Ministry

serve with the elder team to minister to the church in six ways:

pray – seek God’s guidance; pray for the members, groups and ministries
teach – by example and word
lead – help cast vision and strategy
oversee – help oversee all teaching and ministries
protect – help correct false teaching; help oversee church discipline
serve – receive and make calls and visits; meet needs
