CrossPoint Church

Job Description (Full Time)

Youth Pastor

At CrossPoint, we lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus because lives and families are at stake. So, we are looking for leaders who laugh with and enjoy people, who immerse youth and their families in the love of Christ, and who always bring their best because our mission is too important to settle for anything less!

The purpose of this position is to lead the youth of CrossPoint and the Hutchinson area into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Introducing CrossPoint & CPYouth

CrossPoint Church, located across from the local high school in Hutchinson (population of 14,000 people), has been used powerfully by God to reach several hundred people for Christ in the past five years. In 2021 our Sunday Gatherings averaged 285 people in-person and 236 online. We are affiliated with Converge. The CPYouth ministry focus is grades 6-12.

Our CPYouth Wednesdays averages 55 students (with 75 active participants). CPYouth Sunday School has around 25 students. Our youth ministry volunteer team has over 20 leaders.

Mission & Values

Our mission is to “lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.” The strategy to help people grow in relationship with Jesus is found in our four values.

At CrossPoint, we “gather” to know God through worship and God’s Word. We “grow” spiritually through Growth Groups. We “give” by serving others with Christ’s love and we “go” to share the gospel. Each value (gather, grow, give, go) offers unbelievers and believers the opportunity to take next steps of faith.
