SUMMARY

The Bay Church is seeking an experienced communications expert to lead the communication strategy, planning and execution as well as advancing the mission, vision, and values of The Bay Church.

Based in Concord, California, the Youth Pastor (Network Lead) will build and execute youth programs and strategies, across all campuses. This role requires extensive collaboration across many teams, both internally and externally with schools and youth programs. We are looking for someone committed to continual development as a leader and mature Christ-follower.

You possess extensive experience in leading groups of leaders and youth students.
You have passion for great work, you can see potential and nourish it and have a tremendous ability to educate and influence leaders to drive that work forward.
You have the ability to develop, inspire, and empower both staff and volunteer teams.
You can delve deep into The Bay Church to understand the church strategy and attendee insights, to understand challenges, find opportunities, and build a global strategy for youth services and programs.
You thrive being a part of a cross-functional team yet also have the ability to lead.
You are flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment while working as a member of a high-performing team.
You can create systems and programs that are innovative and scalable, keeping mission and vision as your focus.
You can confidently build rapport, credibility and influence throughout the team.
Work across the organization to understand both macro trends and youth specific insights, using available metrics and feedback.

DESCRIPTION

Develop deep understanding of The Bay Church, co-laborer’s services and programs to help drive an innovative strategy.
Develop and drive central processes, across The Bay Church campuses, to improve the quality and effectiveness.
Lead the development and delivery of youth services on designated youth nights across multiple campuses.
Develop healthy small group culture throughout all campuses that compels students to share in more intimate settings and grow in their faith.
Work with campus leads to ensure unity & cohesion between all campuses.
Build ongoing relationship with local schools, faculty, and students in both current and future campus locations.
Create a cadence of activities throughout the year for students to develop relationships, faith, and serve our communities and beyond. (Camps, Missions Trips, etc.)
Oversee quarterly fiscal planning to ensure budgets and resources are allocated to support The Bay Youth initiatives.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree required.

SALARY RANGE/HOURLY RATE

$70k to $90k per year (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)
