However, most Chinese Christian leaders do not have enough money to study in the U.S.; and because U.S. embassies need proof of a student’s intent to study, scholarships provide that proof and allow these students to receive their visas.”

- The recipients must be a full-time Chinese student at the Seminary. To be eligible the students shall be at least 50% Chinese.
- The recipients must be of high academic achievement and must be able to demonstrate the need for financial assistance.
