The Denver Seminary Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Center is solely accredited to offer CPE training by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education and has been approved by the same organization as a Clinical Pastoral Training (CPE) training center. The center offers CPE Level I, Level II, and supervisory education CPE units for matriculated Denver Seminary students. It is the first evangelical seminary to receive this designation. The purpose of the CPE Development and Education Fund is to provide a repository of funds to facilitate the advancement of the CPE program. Specifically, funding is needed for building an endowment fund to hire a Chair of CPE and Chaplaincy, and also for non-budgeted items including, but not limited to, ACPE accreditation and certification expenses and local center CPE program needs.
