Pricelis Dominguez, author of Being a Sanctuary: The Radical Way for the Body of Christ to Be Sacred, Soft, and Safe and student in Denver Seminary’s Women’s Leadership Cohort, discusses the Church’s need for transformation and the radical ways in which Christians can engage with one another and the world. She explores the importance of recognizing and confronting cultural issues within the Church from a Christ-centered perspective, as well as the role of individuals in shaping change within the Church body, emphasizing that believers must continually ask, “What does it mean to be the Church?” Pricelis also shares practical steps for fostering a more sacred, soft, and safe community, including repentance and self-reflection, and moving beyond complacency toward active, thoughtful engagement.
