The Mark and Priscilla Young Global Ministry Scholarship honors the service of Dr. Mark and Priscilla Young as global missionaries, theological educators, and ministers of the gospel. For their entire married life, the Youngs have been committed to serving God in mission together and have impacted the lives of thousands of individuals, students, and Church leaders. This scholarship reflects Mark and Priscilla’s passion and commitment to preparing men and women to globally engage the needs of the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Mark and Priscilla Young Global Ministry Scholarship demonstrates the Seminary’s commitment to global missions by providing opportunities for international students and ex-pats committed to missions to be well-equipped for their places of ministry. This award offers financial assistance to full-time and part-time students in any program, whether online or in person, pursuing global ministry post-graduation.
This scholarship provides 50% tuition scholarships to full-time or part-time students in any program studying online or in-person.
- Recipients may be full-time or part-time students at Denver Seminary, pursuing their degree on campus or globally, and must be enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours.
- Recipients may be enrolled in any degree program at Denver Seminary.
- Recipients must demonstrate financial need and be in good academic standing as determined by the Financial Aid Committee of the Seminary.
- Priority will be given first to international students, then to current missionaries enrolled at the Seminary, and lastly, to students planning to pursue missions after graduation.
- Scholarships may be renewed annually, for a maximum of five years, until the recipient graduates, as long as the recipient meets the above criteria and completes the degree within the period stated in the Seminary’s Academic Catalog.
