For many, the calling to seminary is clear, but the financial pathway is less obvious. The drive to better prepare for ministry or counseling, or reach another goal altogether, is overshadowed by the reality of covering the costs while supporting a family, working, and serving in ministry.

At Denver Seminary our robust Student Scholarship Fund is designed to help make it financially possible for those who are most in need to pursue their educational goals.

Denver Seminary students come from all walks of life. Some students may pursue their studies while working full-time or interning with a ministry. Others leave a job or scale back the time they commit to a job to pursue their degree. Students may come straight from their undergraduate studies or enter seminary later in their career. Some are single, while others attend Denver Seminary simultaneously with their spouse. International students also benefit from scholarship assistance. To address this variety of life situations, the Student Scholarship Fund comprises grants, scholarships, and tuition discount programs to help students requiring financial support to pursue God’s call to ministry.

Though our scholarship recipients may have different reasons for needing financial support, they all share a commitment to their studies and love for Jesus Christ and our mission. When you support the Student Scholarship Fund, you support these students as they work to engage even more people, locally and globally, in the redemptive power of the gospel and the life-changing truth of Scripture.

Many students who feel called to study at Denver Seminary encounter financial challenges along the way as they juggle classes, ministries, and families. If you are passionate about helping students by easing the burden of cost, please consider contributing to the Student Scholarship Fund.

“The whole process of going through seminary was not a process of adding to what I already knew; it was actually dismantling what I knew and putting it together in a way that makes sense. My work at Denver Seminary helped me to figure out and understand why I believe something, not just that I believe something.”

– Joe Seredinski, Denver Seminary MDiv alumni, DMin student, and donor

“Without the financial assistance from Denver Seminary I would not be able to pursue my dreams of walking alongside the broken and hurting people of our world with the redemptive tools that God offers His people.”
