The Timothy Ayre Scholarship Fund was established by Theodore and Phyllis Ayre in honor of their late son, Timothy Ayre. To honor Timothy’s love of nature and the outdoors, this scholarship began as a way to invest in students enrolled in the master’s level outdoor leadership program or to other master’s level students, with need, enrolled in other programs.
“Thank for your generosity in giving to the Timothy Ayre Scholarship Fund. I came to Denver Seminary following an undergrad in youth ministry and psychology, as well as six years in vocational youth ministry, which included serving as a high school ministry director with Youth for Christ. I believe God is calling me to work with youth and he has given me a passion for wilderness ministry. Pursuing a degree in counseling at Denver Seminary where Biblical counseling, youth ministry, and outdoor ministry all came together, was a natural transition for me. I hope someday to work as a wilderness therapist.”
