Prepare students to provide hope, healing, and direction in the redemption of the pain in people’s lives. Denver Seminary counseling graduates work in inner city ministries, public and private schools, churches, and para-church ministries. Due to the holistic nature of the training and clinical professionalism taught in this program, counseling graduates are able to work with both Christian and non-Christian populations.
Denver Seminary consistently graduates the best of Christian counselors. Its reputation has grown since the founding days with Dr. Vernon Grounds. Denver Seminary’s Counseling program is accredited by CACREP, Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs, which allows graduates to more easily find jobs and pursue licensure in all 50 states. In addition, counseling students complete 18 credit hours of Bible and theology study. This unique blend of studies prepares the counseling student to holistically address spiritual, emotional, and relationship issues with a solid biblical foundation.
“How thankful I am to be in a program that so highly values and emphasizes not only my professional growth as a student counselor, but my personal growth and development as well. I am thankful for the Windgate Counseling Scholarship. This entire season of life is possible because of your financial generosity and God’s grace through Denver Seminary.”
