In 1987, generous friends of Denver Seminary, Smith and Charlene McIntire, established the Charlene McIntire Presidential Scholarship Fund to further the educational mission of Denver Seminary and to provide financial assistance to qualified scholars enrolled in the Master of Divinity or Master of Arts programs. Join the McIntires’ generous legacy and increase their impactthrough this scholarship, as Denver Seminary continues to prepare men and women to engage the needs of the world with the redemptive power of the gospel and the life-changing truth of Scripture.

“I find the enemy hits us the hardest when we are on the path God wants us on. A week after my undergraduate graduation, I lost my eldest brother to liver failure. After this I had second thoughts about pursuing my calling to become a chaplain. But even though I had so many thoughts and feelings, I never doubted that this was what I was supposed to do. After I graduate, I would like to work as a chaplain either in a hospital or in the military. I want to be able to help minister to those going through some of the toughest times of their lives, and lead them back to Jesus Christ and what His Word says. May the Lord richly bless you for your generous heart and for sowing into my first year at Denver Seminary!”
