    In an exploration of the significance of feedback in personal growth and development, Training and Mentoring faculty Prof. Debra Anderson, Dr. Teri Elliott-Hart, and Prof. Nathan Scherrer, joined for Engage360 episode 118 to discuss how feedback contributes to increased self-awareness, and to provide insights into the dynamics of giving and receiving feedback effectively. They also highlighting that true self-awareness requires input from various sources, including mentors, peers, and the Holy Spirit.

Finding Perspective on Evangelicalism

Is evangelicalism in the United States at a crisis point? In Engage360 episode 115, Australian New Testament scholar Dr. Constantine Campbell, author of Jesus V. Evangelicals: A Biblical Critique of a Wayward Movement, highlights the challenges facing American evangelicalism, including the dangers of politicizing the movement, and the need for self-reflection and honest feedback from others.

Dr. Campbell argues that American evangelicalism’s association with political power and the wider culture’s perception of the movement can damage the witness of the Church. He also cautions against using the Bible to confirm preconceived notions and explores the negative implications of tribalism within evangelicalism.
