“I’ve come to believe that we are integrating into a burning house.” These words from Martin Luther King Jr. describe how some may feel about the current state of evangelicalism in the United States. Brandon explores the history of the evangelical movement and the impact of the past on the present state of evangelicalism. The conversation highlights the need to reclaim a more comprehensive, kingdom-oriented gospel and the importance of owning historical realities in order to learn from them and foster true reconciliation.
